MEET OUR TEAM
Our team’s more than 50 years of combined experience spans many industries including franchising, retail, restaurants, tourism/hospitality, performing arts, non-profits, education, sports, and outdoor.
Oftentimes at the big firms, you only see the senior-level team during the pitch. With Ivey Agency, our ownership team is hands-on with every client each day. The powerful, all-female team of principals and freelancers we have assembled all have one thing in common - they each have mastered the art of storytelling.

Cecily Sorensen
Cecily’s career began at a boutique PR agency, yet she spent the majority of her career in corporate communications, leading all facets of the discipline for Firehouse Subs. It was there that she honed her craft of restaurant and franchising PR. She has been heavily involved in both industries and built lasting relationships with the trades that continue to serve our franchising clients well. Cecily lives in her hometown of Jacksonville, Florida and keeps busy servicing her clients, and spending time with her huge, growing family.

Shelley Dean
PR Professional, Editor, Journalist, Marketer - there’s nothing Shelley can’t do, and honestly, we don’t know what we would do without her. She’s the glue that holds the agency together on a daily basis, on top of managing some of our largest accounts. She’s been editor of a magazine, she’s been at the helm of some of Georgia’s largest tourism and hospitality organizations, and now she’s the one that keeps our agency organized and thriving. Shelley is also a military spouse. She and her husband Lucas and their dog Baxter are stationed at Fort Stewart on the outskirts of Savannah as he serves as an officer in the Army.
